Choosing the Right Program: Beginner vs Advanced

The Beginner Program is designed for individuals who are completely new to the beauty industry and have little to no prior experience. This program provides a comprehensive foundation in theory, safety, practical skills, and state exam preparation required to pursue licensure. Because it covers all aspects of the training from the beginning, the Beginner Program follows a more full-time schedule to ensure students receive complete instruction, structured guidance, and consistent hands-on practice.

The Advanced Program is intended for individuals who already have previous training or significant industry experience. This option is available for students who attended another beauty school but did not complete their program and have eligible credits that may be validated, or for professionals with three or more years of hands-on experience who are seeking to obtain their license. Advanced students must demonstrate their existing knowledge and practical skills through evaluations and assessments before enrollment to ensure they meet the program requirements. Since these students already possess foundational knowledge, the Advanced Program is offered on a part-time schedule and follows a more fast-paced structure. Students are expected to stay on top of their required credits, complete online homework assignments, and demonstrate competency through ongoing evaluations while finishing the remaining requirements for licensure.
